DC Victim Hotline

The DC Victim Hotline is available for all crime victims in the District of Columbia. Connect with DC’s Victim Hotline by calling 1-844-443-5732 or you can chat with someone via dcvictim.org. The Hotline is free and confidential and available 24 hours a day to help connect people with services that address the interconnecting needs people are facing.

National Domestic Violence Hotline

24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year, the National Domestic Violence Hotline provides essential tools and support to help survivors of domestic violence so they can live their lives free of abuse. Contacts to The Hotline can expect highly-trained, expert advocates to offer free, confidential, and compassionate support, crisis intervention information, education, and referral services in over 200 languages.

DC Rape Crisis Center

The DC Rape Crisis Hotline serves survivors of sexual assault, their friends and relatives, and professionals that work with them. Many callers have histories of sexual assault, but choose to contact us years or even decades after the assault has occurred.

DCRCC hotline is anonymous and confidential, staffed 24/7 by advocates providing immediate crisis support and intervention to callers as well as referrals to resources.

Mental Health Mobile Crisis

The Access HelpLine at 1(888)7WE-HELP or 1-888-793-4357 is the easiest way to get connected to services provided by the Department of Behavioral Health and its certified behavioral health care providers. This 24-hour, seven-day-a-week telephone line is staffed by behavioral health professionals who can refer a caller to immediate help or ongoing care. The Access Helpline can activate mobile crisis teams to respond to adults and children who are experiencing a psychiatric or emotional crisis and are unable or unwilling to travel to receive behavioral health services.
