Strides Against Homelessness: Friends of DASH Step Up for Help the Homeless Walkathon

Washington, DC — This is DASH’s first year as a participant in the annual Fannie Mae Help the Homeless Walkathon. Our board members, staff, friends and supporters are helping us to make it a great success.

Corporate sponsors and individual donors are giving generously in support of our Friends of DASH group. They have raised over $10,000! Our donors include Grosvenor USA, Katten Muchin Rosenman LLP, Highland Technologies, and several anonymous supporters. Individual walkers are registered online, and already have raised hundreds of additional dollars to support DASH.

Thank you to everyone who is participating. Your contributions to make our Help the Homeless Walkathon participation a success. Register by tomorrow, November 19 at 5PM for online pre-registration at www.helpthehomelessdc.org (choose DASH from the Beneficiary List, we are partner #DC090).

Thanks for your support — and if you miss online registration, join us on the National Mall at 12th Street on November 21st to register at the event. Or donate to the Walkathon without walking via the website! Every donation to DASH helps make home a safe place.
